About Us

Mike has been creating outdoor lighting designs and managing and executing the installation of his designs for over ten years.  Mike's interest in lighting design started in high school where he installed event lighting for corporate events, weddings, concerts, and school proms.  After college, he continued exercising his creative muscle by designing and installing outdoor lighting systems for family and friends, while pursuing a career in finance.  After continued growth from word-of-mouth referrals and identifying a clear opportunity that differentiates Mike's designs from existing outdoor lighting contractors, Mike formed LightScapes Outdoor Lighting. 

 

What's our difference?  We are not landscape contractors who simply stick lights in the ground at the request of our clients.  We are not a franchise beholden to low-quality products or design methods dictated by a franchisor.  We only design and install outdoor lighting, and we agonize over every element of the design.  Our systems must be cohesive and compliment the home's design and internal lights.  Every fixture is deliberately chosen to produce a specific lighting effect.  We only install high quality fixtures that we stand behind with our 20 year, 80,000 hour warranty.  We love lighting design, and we would love to work with you!
